How it works

Three ways to ask, one answer you can check

Ask the way you would ask someone who knows the library by heart. SonIA searches the catalogue, chooses and explains.

  1. 1
    Question · plain language

    Ask the archive

A question as you would say it: a theme, a period, a detail, a colour. No keywords to guess.

“Nineteenth-century uniforms with frogging and braid”“Magazine covers in ultramarine blue”
  2. 2
Photo · from phone or computer

    Or show a photo

A fabric, an embroidery, a lace, a sketch, an architectural detail: SonIA suggests volumes with similar references.

  3. 3
    Voice · six languages

    Or ask out loud

One button, the question spoken aloud. The language is recognised automatically and the answer comes in the chosen language.

    SonIA · answer

The volumes, with the reason and the shelf

For each volume the reason for the choice and the location: room, shelf, level. If the catalogue is not enough, SonIA says so.

    Collections and moodboards

Answers

Answers you can check

A library runs on trust: every answer says where it comes from, and leads to the shelf.

Only from your catalogue

nothing invented

SonIA answers with the volumes you own. It never invents titles, pages or content that the catalogue does not hold.

The reason, always

for every volume

Every suggested volume comes with the reason for the choice, so you can decide at once whether to open it.

Straight to the shelf

room · shelf · level

The location is in the answer: the volume is in your hands within a minute.

If it can't find it, it says so

no forced answers

When the catalogue is not enough, SonIA says so and suggests how to broaden the question.

The catalogue grows

with a photo

A new volume is added by photographing the cover and title page: SonIA drafts the record, the librarian confirms.

Everything logged

who, what, when

Questions, opened volumes and collections stay in the consultation log.

The answer is as good as the catalogue. The better the records are described, the more precise the answers. At the start we flag incomplete records and duplicates, and help you fix them.

Confidentiality

Your heritage stays yours

Sovereign and GDPR compliant: the catalogue, the questions and the images stay on SonIA servers in Europe, with SonIA's super intelligence.

Servers in Europe

Catalogue, searches, photos and voice recordings stay in SonIA's European data centres.

No external services

No third-party service reads the catalogue, the photos or the voice: SonIA's super intelligence does the reading.

Access by invitation

Everyone signs in with their own personal access, by invitation: administrator, librarian, reader, guest.

Scopes

Who sees what: rooms, collections, volume types and years. What a person may not see does not exist for them.

Consultation log

Who searched for what and which volumes they opened, available to the administrator.

The project

From your catalogue to the portal, in three phases

Timing depends on the collection and how well it is described: we put it in writing in the quote.

1

Guided import

Your catalogue spreadsheet, as it is: columns recognised, locations read even from a single column, duplicates and incomplete rows flagged.

2

The portal under your brand

Your domain, colours and name, six languages, personal access by invitation and scopes for each team.

3

At work

Questions, collections and dossiers every day. The catalogue grows with new records, even from a photo.

With SonIA's super intelligence, on SonIA servers in Europe.

Every important action waits for your Authorize.
Why it pays off

What changes for the people who use the library

A collection you can question like an expert becomes an everyday working tool, not just a store room.

Found in seconds

Even without knowing the title or the author: just describe what you are looking for.

The collection rediscovered

Volumes forgotten on the shelves come back, suggested because they are relevant.

Shared inspiration

Collections travel from the design studio to management without photocopies or handwritten lists.

Ready-made dossiers

A search becomes a PDF to present, under your brand, in a few clicks.

Knowledge is not lost

What the people who look after the library know stays in the records and concepts, available to everyone.

Anywhere, even on the phone

In the reading room, at the office or travelling: the same library, with the same permissions.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost?

Pricing is project-based, depending on the collection: how many volumes, the state of the catalogue, how many people and how many languages. Fill in the form and we will get back to you.

Do we need a digital catalogue already?

It helps, but it is not required. We start from the spreadsheet you have, as it is; if the catalogue is on paper, we build it together, even by photographing covers and title pages.

Can SonIA invent a volume or a page?

No. It only answers with the volumes in your catalogue and always says why it suggests them. If the catalogue is not enough, it says so.

Who can sign in?

Only invited people, each with their own personal access and scope: rooms, collections, volume types, years. Every consultation stays in the log.

Do photos and voice leave Europe?

No. Catalogue, photos and voice are processed on SonIA servers in Europe, with SonIA's super intelligence. No external service reads them.

Can we use our own brand?

Yes. The portal lives on your domain, with your name and colours, in six languages.

A demonstration on your own catalogue is worth more than any description: a few lines are enough.
